JUNIOR ART DAY PRESENTED BY THE FESTIVAL OF ARTS
IN LAGUNA BEACH
Saturday, July 17th 11AM-2PM
Laguna Beach, CA – Spend the afternoon outdoors with your family in beautiful Laguna Beach at the Festival of Arts Junior Art Day on Saturday, July 17 from 11am-2pm. A fun-filled day with lots to do for the whole family! Children under the age of 12 are FREE and adult admission is $7. First come-first served basis. Supplies limited.
Special Events Director Susan Davis commented, "I'm very excited about all the great activities planned for this special day to expose children to the arts. There will be lots to see and do.”
Fun activities planned for Junior Art Day:
‘Art Quest’ - An art exhibit treasure hunt. When the kids check in, they will be given a sheet with clues. They have to find and identify certain items from artists’ booths. When finished, the children bring their worksheets back and they receive a small prize.
Stiltwalkers, face painters, a balloon artist who will create fun animals, and so much more!
Experience Circus Joy - the circus will come to town and the kids will dress in various costumes and will put on a show for the parents. They will also play with hula-hoops, juggling beanbags, plate spinning and tumbling on mats.
'Arts and Crafts' – Paint-a-pot, make a monoprint and design a hat!
And much more!
Festival admission prices are $7 for general admission and $4 for seniors and students. All general admission tickets to The Festival of Arts – California’s Premier Fine Art Show are season passes giving unlimited access to the Festival of Arts all summer long. Patrons are encouraged to visit the Festival again and again to enjoy all the art, activities and events offered. Laguna Beach residents and Military personnel with ID receive free admission, as do children under the age of 12. Tickets for Pageant of the Masters are $15-$100 (depending on seat location and night of the week). Pageant of the Masters ticket holders can present their stub at The Festival of Arts front gate for free admission all summer long. The Festival of Arts – California’s Premier Fine Art Show runs from July 5th through August 31st (closed August 28th at 2pm for a fundraising event).
